| Attempted Residential Burglary Suspect Arrested |

La Mesa Police Case # 12-00323 4100 block of Yale Avenue.
Incident Details: A resident spotted a stranger on a neighbor's porch attempting to open the front door. According to the witness, the suspect noticed that he was being watched and fled on foot towards MurrayHill Rd. The conscientious witness immediately called 9-1-1 and provided the LMPD with a detailed suspect description and last known direction of travel. Due to the efforts of the witness, officers located the suspect at Murray Hill Rd and Eastridge Rd within five minutes of the 9-1-1 call. The suspect was arrested for attempted burglary.
