The California State Parole division has created a website to alert the public when paroled sex offenders flee from their supervision. Creation of a public notification is partly in response to the murders of local teens Chelsea King and Amber Dubois. 

The website unveiled Tuesday lets the public sign up for e-mailed alerts when parolees are added to the list. The notices include the names, descriptions and photographs of missing parolees, as well as the county where they were living. You can view the site at
