| Suspect Arrested in Albertson’s Robbery |

On Thursday, July 21, 2011, a black male suspect stole a shopping cart full of food items from the Albertson’s located at 8920 Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa. As the suspect was attempting to flee the store he was approached by a sales associate who attempted to detain him. The suspect then threatened to shoot and kill the sales associate.
La Mesa Police Detectives later identified the suspect as 23 year old Robert Titus Jr. On August 17, 2011, detectives arrested Titus at his residence in San Diego. Titus was later booked into San Diego County Jail on one charge of robbery – 211 PC |
