Arrests Made in Three La Mesa Burglaries PDF Print E-mail
On September 27, 2011 between 8:30 a.m. and 11a.m. there were three residential burglaries reported on Thorne Drive and Saranac Place in the City of La Mesa.  A witness to one of the burglaries pointed out the suspects, who were still in the area, to an LMPD Community Service Officer. The Community Service Officer immediately relayed that information to police dispatchers.  Patrol officers responded to the area and stopped the suspects as they attempted to flee in a vehicle.  Stolen property from the burglaries was recovered.

 

Damu LUCAS, (DOB 02-28-91) and Victoria GONZALEZ (DOB 10-05-91) were arrested for all three burglaries.  Lucas was booked into San Diego County Jail and Gonzalez was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility.
