Three Juveniles Arrested for La Mesa Home Burglary Series PDF Print E-mail

On October 4, 2011 at 1:29 PM, the La Mesa Police responded to a radio call of a possible home being broken into by several subjects in the 5600 block of Urban Dr., La Mesa.  The initial report was called in by a neighbor who thought the teens were behaving suspiciously.  The suspects were described as three black male juveniles and were seen walking away from one of the homes.

A LMPD Detective, who was in the area, located the suspects nearby and detained them.  The suspects were subsequently found to be in possession of several items of stolen property.  The suspects were arrested and the investigation has tied all three suspects to at least three residential burglaries in La Mesa.  The La Mesa Police Department is looking for any additional victims or witnesses.  The three known burglaries thought to be committed by these suspects were in the northeast section of the City in the vicinity of the Amaya Trolley Station.

All three juvenile suspects (ages 16 and 17) were booked into Juvenile Hall for burglary charges.  All are from San Diego.
