Woman robbed on Lake Park Way PDF Print E-mail
On November 17, 2011, at approximately 5:34 PM, La Mesa Police Department received a 911 call from a female who had just been robbed of her cell phone and back pack. The robbery occurred on the 5600 block of Lake Park Way in the City of La Mesa. The female called 911 after she was walking on Lake Park Way when the suspect pushed her down to the ground and forcibly took her backpack. The backpack was dark blue in color and contained the woman's I-phone, cash and medications. The suspect fled towards Baltimore Drive. The woman sustained minor scrapes, but did not need medical attention. The suspect is described as: Black male adult, thin build, 20-30 years old, 5'9", approximately 160 pounds, wearing a dark colored beanie hat, navy blue sweatshirt and unknown colored pants.
